Stop by the fire station any Wednesday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. during our training sessions to meet the team, learn about what we do, and explore how you can get involved.

The Lake Ridge Volunteer Fire Department proudly announces the successful graduation of two probationary firefighters, Vanessa Gonzalez and Niko Alavanja, from the rigorous District 1 Fire Academy Summer Class of 2025 at the MAAC on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
The graduation marks the completion of months of intensive training designed to prepare them for the demanding role of a volunteer firefighter.
We are incredibly proud to have them on our team and look forward to seeing the difference they will make.

Lake Ridge Volunteer Fire Department proudly celebrated five of their probationary firefighters as they graduated from the District 1 Fire Academy Winter Class of 2025 at the MAAC on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Their journey has been one of perseverance, hard work, and countless hours of hands-on and classroom training, all in preparation for one of the most selfless and vital roles in our communities: volunteer firefighter.
We couldn't be prouder of their dedication to service, and we know they will continue to make a difference as they step into this next chapter of their careers.
