The Open House is an opportunity to open the fire station to the community in an effort to build a stronger relationship with them and to offer fire safety educational materials and demonstrations. We also have a raffle fundraiser, raising money for safety equipment and other needs.
We are excited to open our doors to the community and invite everyone to come out for a fun-filled day where you can:
Meet your local firefighters
Explore the fire trucks & equipment
See exciting demonstrations
Enjoy family-friendly activities
Support the Fire Department with our Fundraiser
Mark your calendars and spread the word! Together, we can make this event a success and show our appreciation for the brave men and women who protect us every day.
Come see us, along with members of the Lake County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, October 29 from 5pm to 7pm at Longfellow Elementary School for our annual Trunk or Treat event! Decorate your vehicles, whip up your scariest costumes and be ready to play some exciting games!
We will have some of our fire apparatus at the event, and LCSO will be bringing their SWAT vehicle, Helicopter and some of their furry friends to visit with everyone. We hope to see you there!
*This event is mainly for children 14 years of age and below, but all ages are welcome to come out and enjoy the festivities!*
